Beyond Rioja: The Sister Estates of La Rioja Alta

Join us for an evening exploring the landscapes, wines, and culinary traditions of Northern Spain through the sister estates of the legendary La Rioja Alta portfolio.

While La Rioja Alta is known throughout the world for its iconic Rioja wines, this dinner travels beyond Rioja to explore the people, places, and traditions that define Northern Spain.

Our journey begins along the cool Atlantic coast of Galicia with the vibrant Albariño wines of Lagar de Cervera in Rías Baixas, where ocean air, granite soils, and fresh coastal cuisine define the region.

From there, we travel to Rioja Alavesa and Rioja through the elegant wines of Finca San Martin and Finca Martelo before continuing to Ribera del Duero and the powerful, structured expressions of Tempranillo from Bodegas Aster and El Espino.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a thoughtfully paired multi-course dinner inspired by the regions and wines featured throughout the journey, with guided discussion exploring the producers, landscapes, and traditions behind each pairing.

Hosted by TJ Snuffin of Skurnik Wines.
