Grassroots & Vine is seeking a professional, versatile Server / Bartender to join our front-of-house team in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, is comfortable working both the floor and the bar, and values thoughtful, well-paced service.

Grassroots & Vine is a food- and wine-focused neighborhood restaurant where service is personal, calm, and attentive. Server / Bartenders are expected to move fluidly between tables and the bar as needed, providing a consistent guest experience across the room.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive table service and bar service throughout the shift

• Prepare and serve wine, beer, and cocktails with accuracy and care

• Guide guests through the menu and beverage list, offering thoughtful recommendations

• Manage orders and service flow with awareness and professionalism

• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the bar, service stations, and dining areas

• Communicate clearly with front-of-house leadership and the kitchen team to support smooth service

• Process payments accurately and responsibly

Qualifications

• Previous serving or bartending experience preferred, but not required

• Strong communication skills and a genuine, guest-focused approach

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment

• Interest in food, wine, cocktails, and hospitality

• Ability to stay organized, calm, and attentive under pressure

• Team-oriented, reliable, and professional

Schedule and Compensation

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Pay: Hourly base plus tips
