Join us at Grassroots & Vine for an evening exploring the wines of Mendoza with Mendel Wines, one of Argentina’s most respected family-owned estates.
This special dinner will be hosted by Diego Surazsky, CEO of Mendel Wines, alongside Rob Rapp of Cutting Edge Selections. Throughout the evening, guests will be guided through each wine with insight into the vineyards, winemaking, and the evolution of Argentine wine.
The evening features a multi-course menu inspired by traditional Argentine cuisine, thoughtfully paired with Mendel’s estate wines.

Bright citrus, white peach, and mineral notes with fresh acidity and lift
Ceviche de Corvina
Citrus-marinated corvina with lime, ginger, cilantro, fennel, and toasted cancha corn
Second Course
Mendel Malbec Estate Mendoza 
Dark plum, blackberry, violet, and soft, polished tannins
Empanada Mendocina al Horno
Baked Argentine empanada filled with spiced beef, olive, egg, and onion, served with roasted tomato chimichurri
Third Course
Mendel Cabernet Sauvignon Mendoza
Blackcurrant, cedar, and mountain herbs with firm structure and balance
Provoleta con Hongos Asados
Grilled provoleta with roasted wild mushrooms, oregano, olive oil, and grilled bread
Fourth Course
Mendel Unus Mendoza
A blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot with layered dark fruit and spice.
Bife de Chorizo
Wood-grilled New York strip with crispy potatoes, chimichurri verde, and Malbec reduction
Dessert
Mendel Late Harvest Petit Manseng
Honeyed apricot, citrus, and floral notes balanced by bright acidity
Flan de Dulce de Leche
Classic Argentine caramel custard with dulce de leche, toasted almonds, and orange zest
